PROFILE

Christine Facer Hoffman FLS MBALI is an award winning scientist and landscape architect.  She is also a product designer, horticulturist, author and freelance lecturer.  With a previous successful career in medical science behind her, she now runs a dynamic landscape design practice specialising in contemporary design.

Her work is inspired by scientific facts and theories and the numbers and patterns found in nature which are symbolically and metaphorically interpreted in landscape design.   Working closely with the client, each project is often embedded with a strong personal narrative that relates to the client place or interest.  She lives in the Cotswolds and London.

Christine's own designed garden, Througham Court Garden has been described by The Times as one of England's most remarkable gardens and chosen by Tim Richardson as an extraordinary garden for the 21st century.  Pre-arranged group visits are possible and we are now taking bookings for 2024/25 (see under EVENTS/GARDEN VISITS)
