GENETIC GARDEN

The design was one of 20 from entry of 400 designs for the 1st International

Westonbirt Festival of Gardens.  Representing a celebration of my background in medical genetics it contains intriguing features such as DNA Bank (water rippling down a mirrored surface); Boxed Genes (clipped box spheres as genes and their mutations, planted in bespoke steel planters); Splice Bed ("jungle" plants spliced alongside "desert" plants with cacti); all linked with Cell Cycling Paths.

The garden received extensive media coverage including HTV West, BBC2 TV and interview on Radio 2 Woman's Hour.
