VENETIAN ROOF TERRACE

A small space on the rooftops of this 17th century house in the heart of Venice with views of the Canale Grande has been transformed into an exciting contemporary area for dining and chilling out.  A new balustrade of layers of steel mesh overlaid to give a moire pattern encloses the area with new flooring of marble interspersed with polished steel strips with recessed optic lighting.  Buxus spheres in galvanised planters line a wall overlooking the Salute whilst other planters contain ornamental grasses  A bespoke corner upright water feature completes the scene.

Designed in conjunction with the Venetian architect Roberto Canovaro.
